1. How secure is my on-line transaction?
Our on-line ordering system is very secure. Your credit card transaction is protected through our secure server, the adopted standard for processing secure credit card transactions through the internet. .
2. How does Baby Emporio protect my privacy?
Being consumers ourselves, the issue of Privacy Protection is very important to us at Baby Emporio. Your private information is never sold or shared with an outside company or other third party.

Has Baby Emporio done any testing on it's products to comply with the CPSIA?
CPSIA affects both manufacturers & retailers
The Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) goes into effect on 2/10/09 and covers all consumer products, but the most stringent facets of the law have to do with items intended for children ages 12 and under. The CPSIA requires manufacturers to certify that their products comply with all CPSC regulations, employing third-party testing.
Baby Emporio offers certificates of testing done by an approved lab for the following items: Ookie, Kammi, Satin Soothies dolls, KinderKozy sleepsacks/blanket fabric and MyFancyCover shopping cart covers. Other blankets are currently being tested. We will email these certificates upon request.
We also have copies available for you about the testing that was done on the dye used in the Steppin' Out Sox and Tights: such information is available to our wholesale customers upon request.

Do you have off-line ordering options?Yes, you can call us at 1-800-965-9909 Monday through Friday 9am-5pm Pacific Standard time. If after hours, please leave a detailed message, we will return your call as soon as possible. Or you can fax your order to us at 805-985-2158.

What methods of payment do you accept?Online, we accept MasterCard, Visa and PayPal. Fax orders: credit cards only. Fax: 805-985-2158. Phone orders: credit or debit cards only: call 800-965-9909. Sorry, no C.O.D orders.

How do I know Baby Emporio received my order?You will receive an e-mail within 1 hour confirming receipt of your online order. If you do not receive an email, please double check the email address you entered, or contact us at 800-965-990.

When do you charge my credit card?For all domestic orders your credit card is charged at the time of purchase. If the charge is denied, most often due to an incorrect billing address or other typographical error. If such is the case please re-enter the order with the correct billing information. If you are still experiencing difficulties please contact us by
e-mail or call us at 800-965-9909 9am-5pm Monday-Friday, PST. You could also print the order and fax it to us at 805-985-2158. International orders: please see answer to question 13 below.

What if an item I am ordering is out of stock?This is a rare occurrence, but we will notify you within 24 business hours of the estimated length of time before the item will be back in stock. You can then opt to backorder the item, re-order later, change or cancel your order. If you choose to cancel we will issue a refund right away.

When does my order ship?Most orders ship within 2-3 business days.

What shipping methods do you use? We use Fed-Ex Ground for domestic orders and USPS Airmail for all others please see question 13 for more international order information.
For shipments to Alaska or Hawaii extra charges may apply: we will notify you of any additional shipping charges.

How long before my order arrives?Fed-Ex Ground takes approximately 5 business days. USPS Airmail takes 10-12 days.
12. Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we do. Please email us your order and we will contact you by email to inform you of shipping charges and payment arrangements. International customers are responsible for any duties and customs charges as well as return charges if address provided is undeliverable.

RETURNS/EXHANGES & GURARANTEES

What is your product guarantee?Your satisfaction with the item you purchased is most important to us. After all, we would like you to keep coming back! If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, you can return the items within 21 days and we will exchange it, or issue a refund for the purchase amount (less shipping & handling). Please call before returning an item. A return authorization number is required.
14. How do I return or exchange an item?Contact us by
e-mail or call 1-800-965-9909 Monday through Friday from 9am-5pm Pacific Standard Time and request a RMA# (Return Merchandise Authorization number). Inside your return package please include your order number, name, address, phone number, and e-mail address and the reason for exchange/refund. Returned items must be in the original packaging, with tags attached if applicable and unused, unsoiled and undamaged and it must be received within 21 days of purchase. If the above conditions are met we will cheerfully issue a refund or exchange.

We highly recommend that you get a tracking number and insure the return shipment to protect you in case the items get damaged or lost in the mail. Baby Emporio cannot be responsible for return items lost or damaged in the mail. All sales are final after 21 days.
